Congratulations to Shenzhi, Vincent, Ethan and all co-authors for publishing their paper “Predictive design of tissue-specific mammalian enhancers that function in the mouse embryo” in Nature Genetics! In this study, Shenzhi and co-authors have built computational models of enhancer activity in different tissues of the developing mouse embryo using a transfer learning approach. These models have then been used to design cell type specific enhancers which successfully validated in vivo! Congratulations!
